This latest model is a "testing the water" operation. The "Plug and Play" GT kit has been modified to include all the improvements we have learnt in cast iron running systems & manufacture. Additionally, we have extended the CAD designs to include a 225cc version for 200 casings with a 30mm manifold that exits on the L/H side. Previously, a big block version was not possible without a complete tooling redesign. This is still the case and the CAD designs represent two completely seperate tooling sets. As always with Gran Turismo designs, the product flexibility and quality is paramount. The new design is completely reverse compatible with original but will offer additional options of manifold and dedicated cylinder head with both plug position options. Peak power delivery is expected to be in line with the existing GT186 @ 5800-6200 with a JL3 expansion pipe with a wide spread of torque. The 225 version should give some appreciable increases in performance over the small block version. This is down to the larger stud PCD permitting larger ports and geometry.
